Caring for Monstera:

1. Light Requirements:Monstera plants prefer bright, indirect light. They can tolerate some degree of direct sunlight, especially in the morning or evening, but too much direct sunlight can scorch their leaves. Avoid placing them in deep shade, as this can lead to leggy growth and reduced fenestration.
2. Watering:Its important to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch (2.5 cm) of soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering or letting the plant sit in water can lead to root rot.
3. Humidity:Monstera plants thrive in humid environments. They appreciate higher humidity levels, especially during the growing season. You can increase humidity by misting the leaves, placing a humidity tray nearby, or using a room humidifier.
4. Temperature:These plants prefer temperatures between 65F to 85F (18C to 29C). They can tolerate slightly cooler temperatures but are sensitive to frost.
5. Soil:A well-draining, rich potting mix is ideal for Monstera plants. You can use a mix that includes peat moss, perlite, and pine bark.
