Set in the heart of Martinborough, Margrain Vineyard is a genuine family owned boutique producer specializing in Pinot Noir and a range of aromatic varietals. Established in 1992 and now producing approx 3500 cases of wine per year, they harness the passion of a small team of enthusiasts to grow and produce wines of substance and individual character.

Bright, pale straw-yellow colour with green hues. The bouquet is tightly packed with soft passionfruit aromas melded with grass and herb notes, the density lightened by some lifted esters. Dry to taste, softly full and gently unfolding flavours of ripe and sweet passionfruit flow on the palate. Subtle layers of tropical fruits, gooseberries and grass add interest. The mouthfeel is soft from rounded acidity and a light, textured line carries the flavours to a dry finish.
