Look for pure Chardonnay grape flavours of grapefruit, peaches with hints of almond and the ever present mouthwatering salty/briney characters from the coast, where as you guessed it – the perfect food match also hails from.

This coastal vineyard of Kidnappers delivers a fantastic crop to craft a Chardonnay in its purest naked form. As one of the finest NZ examples of ‘lightly’ oaked Chardonnay around the Kidnappers Vineyard Chardonnay does a great job emulating the Chardonnay experiences of Chablis. Focusing on the pure flavours of the Chardonnay grape Kidnappers employs old large oak barrels for maturation only.
